About this page
I shuffle a six-deck shoe and deal you two cards face-up, and myself two cards — one face-up, one face-down. Best total closer to 21 without going over wins. Aces count 11 unless that busts the hand, then they count 1. Face cards count 10.
A natural Blackjack — Ace plus 10-value on the first two cards — pays 3:2 by default (flip to 6:5 in the House rules tab and watch the house edge climb). I hit until I reach 17 or bust, and I hit on a soft 17 by default (toggle to S17 if you prefer; the visitor gets a slightly better edge). Late surrender returns half your bet when you forfeit a hand on your first decision.
Turn on the Hint chip and I'll glow the basic-strategy-correct action on every decision. The chart I follow is the standard 6-deck H17 DAS chart; if you flip H17 / S17 or DAS / no-DAS, the hints adjust. Following the hint perfectly still leaves the house with a small edge — that's the math of the game, not a bug in my advice.
