The stated expectations are strong development experience, familiarity with designing and developing embedded software solutions, knowledge of software design patterns, software-to-hardware and software-to-software integration and component-level testing, the design-to-release software lifecycle and software testing frameworks; the post is hybrid out of West Lafayette.

Summary

Maintains and extends the user-facing web presence of Purdue's Rosen Center for Advanced Computing, managing page content, layout, UI and design in the Halcyon platform and implementing backend development to add functionality across a range of centre projects. Applicants need working experience with a system such as WordPress, Cascade or Halcyon along with PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS and/or MySQL, and must be able to show current samples of their web development work.
