How it went

The NFC Championship was the best game of the postseason and everyone in it knew it. Matthew Stafford threw for 374 yards and three touchdowns, Puka Nacua caught 165, and the Rams gained 479 yards — and lost, 31–27, because Sam Darnold threw for 346 and three scores of his own, three touchdown passes in ten and a half game minutes either side of halftime. Jaxon Smith-Njigba had 153 yards. The Seahawks led 31–20 with 4:52 left in the third after Cooper Kupp's 13-yard catch, Nacua's 34-yarder cut it to four, and then nobody scored for the last seventeen minutes: the Rams went 1-for-8 on third down all day, and the last one mattered.
