Knutson led 2-0 and then 3-0, in that order, and lost both sets 6-3. She broke Lys in the opening game of the match and again to open the second set, and each time the German answered by taking six of the next seven games; from 3-3 in the first set, the Czech news agency counted two more points won by Knutson in it.
